I expected a little more than what I got. Received the bag in January but didn't think to check it out as reviews weren't too bad. Going to try and break down this review as much as possible. Please read completely and decide for yourself. 1. This is a 70L bag. It is very large. There is the option to collapse the bottom and make it quite a bit shorter. Roughly from 70L to 50L. I was expecting something large so this was not an issue. 2. Plenty of compartments for organization. One large pocket on each side of the bag. I have a UST outdoor kit that includes a pretty good sized camping hatchet (roughly 10in long). There was ample room in the pockets for that hatchet, a survival knife, sharpening stone, and a few other odds and ends. 3. Large, narrow outer pocket. I'd say 5 subject 5star notebook sized. There are "molle" straps on the outside of it. I wouldn't trust the stitching with anything of real weight that I wouldn't want to lose or end up carrying. 4. The inside of the bag itself is very roomy. It lacks interior pockets. An adult sized, compressed sleeping bag would fit in it easily. 5. There is another outside pocket on the outside at the bottom of the bag where the straps are for collapsing the bag. It was too small for me to even think of a practical use for it. 6. There is a drawstring closure at the top of the bag. It honestly looks like a shoe string was put in it and then put through the cheapest stopper toggle I have ever seen. I would honestly recommend changing it out for something a little sturdier. 7. The top of the bag, the part that flips over has a front zipper and 2 straps for securing it down. It could probably be used for a mess kit if it wasn't too large. 8. The buckles that the straps go through seem to large for the straps themselves. They provided no resistance and the straps would pretty much just fall out. 9. The shoulder straps. They could be used as a torture device. I don't know about anyone else but my neck is wider than an inch. The straps almost touch at the top of the bag. I could not imagine how uncomfortable it would become over any length of time. 10. The fabric. Ever felt the fabric on those cheap kids backpacks? The kind that feels like it would rip if you just pointed something sharp at it? Yea, that's pretty much what this bag is made of. 11. The back of the bag has mesh on it. Normally this isnt a bad thing. When you can see the thin white layer of foam padding your back on the inside of that liner, well that's not a good thing. So, will it fit a crap ton of stuff in it? Yes Would you want to trust it with important things you wouldn't want to ultimately end up carrying in your arms? No. Is it worth $50? That's a negative, hands down.
