Don't waste your money!! The first week we had this device I was in love! It browned the meat and veggies quickly in the morning, and then slow cooked all day. The problems started in a month. First, the non stick coating started to come off in the corners. It was small so I though I would use it one more time to make corned beef before contacting the company about a replacement pot. Unfortunately, the corned beef liquid boiled over short circuiting the entire machine (the heating mechanism is very strong). When I contacted customer service, they told me it would be covered under the warranty just to call back with the serial number. When I called back two hours later with the information, the representative said that the earlier representative lied to me. It would not be covered under the warranty. When I asked to speak to a supervisor to discuss why I was lied to, I was told that there were no supervisors available. I won't do business with them again.
