Defective bed construction. The "wire mesh" is tack welded from the bottom. Only small "beads" holds the entire bed to frame.
Amazon gets 5 stars for attempting to resolve a defective product. Gorilla Carts - gets a zero and here's why.
I purchased my Gorilla Cart after my original garden cart went through the ringer and a wheel literally broke off (loved the cart - it was not a Gorilla Cart brand). Upon delivery and assembly of the Gorilla Cart, I was eager to put it to use. First use was lugging 12-16 inch diameter "rounds" (logs) into the backyard so I could split and stack them. After about an hour's use, I pulled the (flimsy - but common) plastic bedsheet out of the cart to shake the collected debris off. That is when I noticed that the metal (mesh) bedsheet, had broken away from the seams of the frame.
I flipped the cart over and noticed that the metal bedsheet was tack-welded to the frame. Such that, the only support holding the metal bedsheet to the frame was a tiny "bead" from the tack-weld!!!!! (How could this tiny bead, withstand me placing 60lb rounds in the cart? It couldn't!!!). I compared the Gorilla Carts construction, to my old garden cart. The old garden cart's bedframe was tack-welded from the "top", such that there was actually 1-inch lip, so that a portion of the mesh frame was not only welded to the lip, but that the 1-inch lip supported the mesh.
I called Amazon and Amazon sent me a replacement cart and I swapped out the broken bed frame. I've since installed the "new" bed frame, which has since broken away again.
I've called Gorilla Carts and have not resolved my issue. It has taken (me) submitting them: the original Amazon Invoice, the "Lot #" from the cart's frame, pictures, etc. I asked, in the interim to speak to a manager and was told, she "is" the manager and she needs to "process my claim". Ridiculous.
I would not purchase this unit again, nor would I recommend that anyone else buys it, until they can fix the defective construction of the bed frame which is both ridiculously flimsy and also not welded/supported in any fashion that would suggest it could withstand "RUGGED" use.
