★★☆☆☆
Overpriced mediocrity
I was so ready for a proper PS5 exclusive, but this was a disappointment. The graphics aren’t as great as I had hoped, the gameplay is repetitive, and it’s a rogue-like so it’s fun for a bit and then I want something more structured. It’s very much like Risk of Rain 2, gameplay-wise, but with better (subjective) shooting. The dual sense does work pretty well here, but I’m still not convinced it’s more than a gimmick. I wish I wouldn’t have bought it. At least not for $70. Definitely more at home in the $30 range, imo.
