I just got this printer. It does not have the ability to scan without opening the HP app on your computer. It doesn't even have a scan button! In other words, you cannot simply press "Scan" on the printer, and have it scan to email. You have to have the HP app open on the computer. This is a MAJOR flaw for an office printer/scanner. Had I known this, I would have opted for the "touchscreen" model. You need one of the models with a touchscreen in order to set up scan to email, etc. Very disappointing. I cannot comment on other aspects of this printer. There should be an option to set up an email address using the software. The printer should have a simple "Scan" button that could be configured in the software. This device will now be used as a printer only.
