My bad. I got suckered by "Mead" and "security." These are 20 LB stock and bend under their own weight. Had the 20 LB spec for this item been listed in the product description, I would have never purchased this. Unless you bought some cheap junk paper, your laser or ink jet paper is heavier at the industry standard 24 LB. I can see through these envelopes by holding one up to the dim "mood" lighting of my dining room chandelier. The adhesive and flap-gap make for easy un-seal and re-seal Security? Spare me!
