Ok so when I buy things, I usually will give them a weeks test run just in case the product is having a bad day and what not. This product (not my first diffuser) started acting up on day two. I understand it has a timer to shutoff every 3 minutes but lately it has been just TURNING OFF. No lights on, just turning off. Thinking it was a moisture problem, I emptied the unit and let it dry out. I ran alcohol through it to break down oils and everything of that nature. After troubleshooting everything I could, and trying to run it again, I smelled something burning! I told myself screw this thing, I'm returning it. I went to unplug the unit and noticed it was burning! The outlet adapter caught on fire! I use this while I'm sleeping and sometimes I leave it on when I leave the house! Wow!
