Got ours we used it on our 3 week old daughter, gave us a temp of 100.8 and we tried it again 15 minutes later gave us a temp of 101.6 we used it on ourselves we had a fever as well. We went to the emergency room as directed by our physician and she was fine. I do not recommend this product as it’s inaccurate
