Picture and sound are okay, but the new OS (Tizen) Samsung is using is terrible. If you are looking for a smart tv with a large app selection, stick with the 2014 models. Tizen has very few apps, most of the useful apps from the previous models are absent and they have been with replaced with what seems like apps and services from companies that paid Samsung to include. This brings me to the biggest problem with this tv, ads. Ads when you launch the smarthub, ads in the smart hub switcher, and ads in the form of apps that install automatically that cannot be removed. That's right, random apps will install on their own and you cannot uninstall them. I can only guess that these companies are paying Samsung to install such things as, WWE app, Dominos app, etc. I spoke to a Samsung rep about older apps coming to the Tizen OS and was told there is no ETA. I am not holding my breath that these apps will ever make it, mean while there are plenty of advertising apps available... joy. Avoid the Tizen smart tvs at all cost. Update: Ads are still in the Smarthub App switcher and apps still install automatically. I am on the latest firmware, not signed into Samsung's account system, opted out of Syncplus and interactive marketing services and all other marketing nonsense but still have ads.
