I really like the aesthetics but it is a pain, literally, to use. I've burned myself in two ways: 1. When popping the top off, some of the steam always condenses along the underside and will splatter on one's hand if you pull the top off too quickly. 2. If the pot is less than half full, pouring the water out requires one to tip the pot more than 90 degrees which can cause the steam to rise into your hand. In addition, the spout does not create a smooth stream of liquid when pouring which can lead to additional splattering. Look for a different kettle...
