Warning! After 6 months of use (in accordance with instructions) I had my phone attached to the charger and briefly put it in a very loose pocket of a pair of shorts. In the midst of a conversation, I had a brief sensation of heat in my pocket and without fanfare removed the charger from my pocket and set it on the table in front of me while continuing the conversation with a client. Seconds later the charger exploded into flames. The surrounding crowd was shocked at the size of the flames as I knocked it from the table to avoid injury. As it burned on the ground, I frantically tried to disconnect my phone from the attached charger cable. I managed to save my phone but all features of my relatively new Samsung phone no longer work. I don't want to even think about what would have happened if I hadn't subconsciously moved the charger from my pocket to a table as there is no doubt I would be dealing with serious injury! This may be a fluke but I will look for the highest possible safety rating on any and all future chargers. Strongly recommend you stay away from this one for your and your family's safety.
