I’ve been using Great Lakes Collagen for a long time because it really helps my joints, 100 times better than glucosamine for me. I’ve also seen significant improvement in my post-menopausal skin, hair and nails. I’ve found it to be super user-friendly...a large spoonful immediately and fully dissolves in my morning coffee (with a little creamer) and doesn’t affect the taste or consistency at all. This is the first time I purchased GLC from Amazon and, honestly, it’s been a bit alarming. The product is different, maybe cut with fillers to increase profits? It doesn’t easily dissolve but instead clumps and leaves sticky, foul tasting lumps in my coffee and an off-putting foam on top. The after-taste is very unpleasant. Amazon used to be trustworthy but over the past couple of years I’ve been victimized several times by substandard knockoff products selling as the real deal. Maybe that’s the case here. I HIGHLY recommend this particular collagen product but caution you to buy it elsewhere, direct from Great Lakes or even Walmart online.
