These chairs are great. We purchased 2 of them to replace our old lazy boy recliners. They are very cushy and soft, but firm enough you don't feel like you are sinking in quick sand. The heat function is good for cold days, and the massage is ok. My single complaint is when you are sitting up just rocking, it feels like you are leaning forward instead of back. I looked at the chair base and wound up replacing the factory bolts in the front, that bolt the chair base to the square tubes with longer ones. I also then inserted 3 -1/4" square washers in between the chair base mounting plate and the square tube on each side. This raised the front ( at least what I now call the front) 3/4". This made it so I and my wife did not feel like we were falling out of the chair when we were sitting up rocking. This tweak also made them recline just that little bit more. Now when sitting up the bottom of the chair is level with the floor. Before it was angled forward. Strange I know, but Some people like them that way. Prior to lifting the front with the square washers it caught slightly as you rocked. This tweak also corrected that issue. All in all they seem to be quality chairs and are extremely comfortable. The comfort being said from a person that has had 2 lumbar back surgeries. Do not misunderstand what I am saying here. These chairs are perfect as is. My wife and I are tall and the tweak we did to the chairs was a personal choice not a necessary one. I would recommenced these chairs to anyone. *Edit* We purchased these chairs in may 2014. It is now December 2014. These were great at first. However they are not designed for every day use. That is very apparent by how quickly the foam is breaking down. I would not recommend these chairs for anyone that plans to use them every day for long periods. The heat has stopped working as well. Beware.
