I had a 3950X, and tried using this interface as a main device, however due to how the driver are written ( that haven't been updated since September 2019) it has pure incompatibility with ryzen based or all amd systems. after speaking with tech support, I was notified of no intent to correct this. if you have an AMD processor and intend to get this, keep in mind you will suffer from audio issues in recordings, buffer underruns ( regardless of buffer time), loss of audio that requires a reinstall, and the occasional blue screen due to the driver causing a kernel panic. The best way to use this device on AMD is to power the interface on a power brick, and treat the 1/4 outputs as inputs to your motherboards sound card. I decided to pick up a Scarlett interface and return this and will update my review when that arrives, to see if that is a better alternative.
