Lower quality, lace eyelets ripped
My first pair of Keen work boots out lasted my Timberland. It only makes sense to buys things that work. My second pair are not as good. They changed the shoelace eyelets to just thin strap of nylon with no reinforcement. Even cheap shoes/sneakers have reinforced shoelace eyelets, made of either hard plastic or metal.
These Keen boots have no reinforced lace eyelets. Mine ripped after two weeks of use.
