I would never recommend this mop to anyone I know. The wringing system is inefficient and, regardless of the number of times I press the pedal, and it "spins", the mop is saturated beyond use. I keep pouring out water incrementally (until well below the halfway of the MAX line) and pumping the pedal increasing amounts. My floor is sopping wet. I'm contacting amazon about a return and refund.
