Fabric slings fell apart within two months
The size and design of the slings was perfect for keeping our preschoolers' library books off the floor. We were happy until about a month in, when the bottom sling developed a big hole right along the seam. We had only put 3-4 picture books into it, but I figured maybe the seam just wasn't sewn well. But then books started disappearing, and I realized the top sling had a gaping hole that books just dropped through. Then the next one down, which doesn't even have a bottom seam, developed a big, stringy hole. Right now the sling is basically useless. Very disappointed. Update: found a temporary fix: white duct tape. The material is too stiff and flimsy to sew (every single bottom seam had frayed) so I put duct tape sling the bottom of each level where the seam used to be, both inside and outside. This fabric is so flimsy. Update #2: Duct tape didn't stick to this fabric. Had to get rid of it. I don't have time to see my own sling to for the frame. Such a bummer. I really liked the concept, but their cheap materials made this useless.
