OtterBox should have renamed this phone case something else. The Defender case for the iPhone 13 is the defender case I've used since iPhone 7, but it also does not allow any wireless charging (Qi or MagSafe). Enter the "Defender XT", which will at least allow MagSafe charging (still not Qi). First, this case is one hard plastic piece, not the 3 pieces in all the defender cases. The case is smooth hard plastic that feels like you've lost the silicone part of the old Defender case. It slides all over my car when I set it down and feels like you're going to drop it when it's in your hand. Extremely disappointed with the OtterBox line of phone cases with my iPhone 13. Looks like I need to go find a new brand of case after 6 years of using OtterBox. Hopefully this review will save you the $100+ dollars (I bought both the Defender and the Defender XT, and will use neither going forward.
