Pros: -I can review video on my phone and send to my email. -Picture is clear. Cons: -I have to go through multiple steps to record videos. Explanation: The dash cam does not record on its own when it turns on automatically with the car. I have to go in the app and press drive to start the recording. If my phone screen turns off or I switch to another app or just exit the nexar app while the video is recording, it stops recording. Conclusion: It does what it needs to do as long as my phone screen is on with the app running. By doing this, my phone battery gets drained because my phone is showing what the camera is seeing the whole time it's recording, but I have to have a dashcam in case of an accident. This dashcam is much more of a nuisance than I expected. For my next dashcam, I want one where it will start recording when the camera starts up without me having to go through multiple steps for it to start recording. Also one where I don't have to have my phone on while it's recording.
