Where oh where are the writers of "The Master to Missy" Storyline?
I know there are suppose to be some changes in regeneration, but this character's personality does not resemble Doctor Who's of the past. She is portrayed as incredibly whiny and passive, hence his/her essence is completely gone. No whitty dialogs or funny comebacks...nothing. There is equal time spent on the companions as on her, which actually leaves the viewer unable to grow closer or get vested on any of them. My goodness, the set this week was reminiscent of Season 1! And the Tardis looks like a dungeon. This is an insult to fans, and to women alike. For goodness sakes, how Iknow there are suppose to be some changes in regeneration, but...can you go from strong female companions like Donna and Clara and end up with a regenerated female that is more meeker than a 19-year-old Rose? As fans, we can cope with new Doctors, but the fact that there seems to be no hints, innuendos, something that would lead us to believes that The Doctor is still in there, is discouraging. changing genders is hard enough, but they did a supered job with the "Master to Missy" character! How could they get this sooooo wrong?
