Okay... I am a waffle snob. In my opinion & preference, waffles should have a "crunch" to the outside with a "bread" consistency inside. Waffles are not weirdly imprinted pancakes. That being said, I have tried everything to capture that essence. I used every temperature setting, different batter recipes & various timing. I could not find that sweet spot. Cleaning the removable plates are easy but... this makes weirdly imprinted pancakes, not waffles. Also, I tried for many many months, not just a couple of times
