Very disappointed with this product, but even more so with the useless one-year warranty. On top of the purchase price, we paid an additional $175 to have the hoop professionally installed, and it seemed fine for the first two months. Then it started making metallic clanking sounds, which we ignored (which may have been a mistake - we should have reported it to the company). So three months into gently using it, it collapsed completely, rendering it totally useless and un-salvageable. The company refuses to stand behind its warranty, saying that we should have reported trouble within the first 30 days, except that there was no trouble to report. What use is a warranty when the company does not honor it? When a fairly pricey basketball hoops collapses for no apparent reason, it is obviously a manufacturing defect. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.
