I have over 30 years’ experience using, applying and driving with chains. I followed the exact instructions on what type to purchase for my vehicle. I double checked it with their website as well as the Amazon product check information. They fit perfectly. I even did a dry run to check their fit in my driveway. Fast forward to the moment we needed them. I was in a heated underground snow free area when I was able to install them. I had a professional tire chain installer also verify I did it correctly because they were a new style. I opened the garage door and drove out on to the snow. Within in 5 minutes the driver side had literally broken from the actually steel metal cable and then literally flung off my car in the traffic and a blizzard. I then had to drive to a chain seller in town where I got another set of different chains. I had a professional installer install them and when he removed the other one still on my passenger side he said he'd never seen a cable break like these have ever. It literally tore apart from the manufactured joints rendering them useless in seconds. He said another 5 miles and the passenger side would be next. The quality of these chains are garbage. In addition, god forbid you have to install them when you actually have snow on the ground or ice in your wheel wells or on your tires forget it, you're done. I would have been better off not using chains at all then endangering my family with these.
