Got this the other day to watch our dog while we are gone. After several days of failing to set the device up, support told us to try setting up with 2 phones. One phone using its hotspot for the other phone to connect to while setting up the camera. Finally after this worked we thought we were good. Then I click on the camera to view and I am staring at someone else’s living room/kitchen. With full control of the camera! I have no idea where these people live or how this is possible but my hunch is that the QR code on the back of the device is somehow a duplicate of the other camera in someone else’s house. I immediately deactivated the device and boxed mine up to send back. I will not be ordering another from Netvue. Creepy!
