I have worked in the surveilance/ cctv industry for 20 years. I'm a certified repair technician for Sony, Panasonic, LG, and Samsung. I own 3 of these cameras. I bought one for every car in my household. It's always something with these. Here's a list of things I've noticed. The cameras ask you to format the sd card randomly. The whole camera falls off the windshield all the time. After removing the card to view footage on a computer putting the card back in the camera will prompt formatting. The GPS is touchy and most of the time doesn't display speed. I seriously doubt this camera uses any low light technology or Sony hardware for that matter. I've had cars driving directly in front of me at night and still not able to make the plate out on video. I'll tear one apart and post results on Youtube. The last straw with these is when we really needed some footage for a vandalism incident. The camera was useless because you can't make out a license plate even with direct light shining on the suspected vehicle. At best these are $49 cameras. Waaay over priced for what you get. The only good thing I have to say is about Rov customer service. If you message them, they will message you back very quickly.
