After downloading this book I eagerly started reading Skylark of Space, a book I first read more than 50 years ago. So much was missing, even scenes where major characters are introduced. The book was not just abridged- it was butchered. Not only are sentences missing, entire chapters are missing . I gave it a status of 1 because of the missing chapters and sentences, not because of the writing (it is, after all, space opera). Chapter !! ('2' in Roman numerals) in this e-book is actually chapter 5 in the original.
