I thought this was solid, stained wood. It's really beautiful, but after two uses, it has already started buckling/warping. It appears instead to be veneer. We leave it in a covered shed at our cabin, so it's not in the rain, but exposed to some moisture, but nothing that should cause this in less than a month. Bummed.
