The Chair Collapsed and my Wife Fell Out Backwards
These chairs look nice, sturdy and comfortable. They're none of those things, in reality. After only about a month of use, my wife's chair buckled under her, with no warning, and she fell backwards off of it. Luckily, she's tough and laughed it off, though I know it must have hurt and was embarrassing. Take a look at the bent leg in the picture. These chairs will only "adjust" to a couple of different reclined positions (mid-point and full back only since the locks are not functioning properly). Otherwise, the chair will slowly fall backwards or forwards, making you constantly reset it. I'm tall, 6'5", so my feet hang over the end of the chair, making the zero gravity design useless. Yes, I'm pretty tall, but anyone roughly 6 feet or more will have similar problems. If you pull your feet in onto the chair, the arm rest ends will dig into your outer thighs and the counterweight of your legs will sit the chair back down out of the reclined position. Sweet, huh? These chairs do well in pictures, as they're nice to look at, but functionally, they're awful. I'd recommend to keep looking.
UPDATE: For what it's worth, the company was responsive and refunded me within a day - no hassle.
