I am a big fan of gardein so I was happy when I found out they were making jerky. The saltiness is no joke! The entire 2.25oz package of jerky comes in at 1370mg of sodium which is 60% of the daily recommended value. The calorie count though is quite favorable at 190. The flavor before the salt hits ya tastebuds is actually good. I liked the texture too. Gardein in my opinion totally missed the mark with this overwhelming salty jerky. Just get rid of all the salt and this jerky would be a winner.
