The book is great, but never buy any book directly from Cook's Illustrated. Be careful getting a subscription to the magazine also. The company will continuously send you books you did not ask for, and bill you for them. Even if you pay for the book to get rid of them, they send you more notices. If you send the book back to the company, they won't acknowledge it was returned. They threaten to send it to a collection agency. I have sent back 3 books to the company, and also had to pay twice for each book. Google "Cooks Illustrated book scam". Again, the book, magazine, and TV show (America's Test Kitchen) are great, but the companies billing department is a scam.
