Buyer beware, salvage drives
The usb casing is a generic unit, the drive inside appears to be laptop salvage. When I plugged the unit in, it failed to write a DVD. Having nothing to really loose, I opened it up and found that the drive inside was manufactured in October of 2008. Looking at the pictures I uploaded, you can see the scratches on the drive. Definitely not a new unit.
