Glad this was free.
I'm not finished with this book yet, but the misogyny of the main character is driving me batty. Sure, it might just be meant to be a character flaw, but typically the author is careful to unfold the plot from another character's point-of-view so that we know it's not the author's personal opinion. So, either the main character or the author (or both) really doesn't like androgynous women (or, as they are referred to, "dykes"), overweight businesswoman, and attractive, sexy women(they are either idiots or murderous schemers). I will probably finish the book, but won't be reading another of his. Okay, finished it. The misogyny got worse as the book went on. Extremely offensive. The editing was sloppy as well, especially during the second half of the text. The ending was abrupt and confusing for a few seconds until I finally got that the book had ended--with little fanfare, sort of an "Okay, I'm done writing this--bored now!" abruptness. Changed from 2 stars to 1 star.
