These are some of the cutest dang shoes! But imagine my disappointment as I attempt to try them on and find that the opening for my foot is not nearly big enough. WHAT??!! These are slip-ons, so one would think it would be important for the manufacturer to allow a moderate amount of space for a human to "slip them on" their feet, right? I will point out that there is some elastic in the tongue area, but it's not enough. I did finally get one shoe on after having to buy a stupid shoe horn. ($7 at Wal-Mart. I honestly didn't know shoe horns were still in existence, thanks.) Something else I can note is that these shoes seem pretty narrow. So narrow that a seam on the inside of the shoe totally smashed my little toe and made it mad for a few minutes. I have small feet, size 6. So seriously, should there be a bunch of sweating and swearing trying to put on a shoe? Nope. I totally know how Cinderella's step-sisters felt now. I really wanted the shoe to fit! I will share that there was more sweating & swearing getting the shoe off. My poor foot looked like it had been mauled by a toothless jackal. Who knows, maybe I got a wonky pair? Maybe they shrunk in transit? Or maybe they were simply made for people with Skeletor feet? I am unclear at this point. I’m so sad these are being returned. RIP cute shoes. See you in my order history… Ladies & Gentleman, Christmas is ruined.
