I received this slow cooker today, and I am sending it back. It is nice looking for sure, and probably works great, but it is NOT a 5 quart slow cooker. The second I took it out of the box I knew it looked small compared to the ACTUAL 5 quart cooker I'm replacing, so I got my measuring cup out and filled the new one with water, and sure enough, it's ONLY 4 quarts. I just wanted to write this to warn anyone that wants a genuine 5 quart cooker, to keep looking. If you want just 4 quart, it would be perfect. This is not Amazon's fault by any means, and they have been great about doing a return. The box says 5 quart so that is what they have to go by. This is clearly the fault of Hamilton Beach, and they really need to correct this. Thanks for being great about the return, Amazon! I have now ordered the Crock Pot 6 quart Manual Slow Cooker in Red. I will be back to give a review after I receive and use it.
