Kindle version has been been edited, and is not true to the original.
This negative review is for the Kindle version. The Keeper of the Bees is a good book. I enjoyed it when I read it years ago and was looking forward to rereading it, but I was disappointed to find that whoever digitized this book took it on themselves to edit it. By their own admission in the preface they stated that they changed the spelling of some words to "modernize" them, and even changed some of the phrasing because they think I am too unintelligent to read a book that wasn't written last year. There was no mention of the content of this book being modified in the Kindle version description -- and there shouldn't be: because this book does not need editing, or modernizing. It should stand as written.
