I bought this sharpener specifically because I've always used the high quality manual pencil sharpers made in Germany. When it arrived, it says "Made in CHINA" on the package. I'm very disappointed. I will keep it as I like that it has the flip lid to keep the shavings from spilling out. I'll be back and update after I've used it a while and see how it compares to the made in Germany sharpeners.
