I bought these because they were cheaper than some others and tbh I wasted my money completely. When they came in the mail I thought... how is this going to prevent any UV? They’re so thin & I can see holes in the fabric? SO I got to searching. Turns out, cotton material of light color (these) provide on average 7, yes SEVEN SPF lol. Seven.. haha... Your best bet is synthetic materials like polyester etc. Do your research! Apparently denim is also a good choice, because of its tightly woven nature. Anyway, UV protection is serious & I live where it is extremely sunny year round, so I will chalk this up to a learning experience. Also, if this was helpful click the helpful button!
