So I bought this because I’ve been having issues with my left knee, possibly a tear & will need surgery. When you walk with it you tend to lean on it left or right. So when you stop & need to leave it standing, the rod base that’s supposed to swivel gets stuck at what ever direction you were leaning when you last moved. So when you leave the Cain to stand, the stupid thing will fall. Isn’t the whole awesomeness of this Cain supposed to be it’s standing feature?? I always have to remember to pound it down straight before letting go, so it won’t fall & then I end up hurting myself from picking it up!!! I put this same review on their site.. they removed it because it didn’t fit their standards! Ha!! Guess that’s why it has so many good reviews, since they won’t allow you to put up a bad one, because they’ll delete it!!! Anyway... good luck, not worth the cost & better off using one you can just lean on something!!
