The Base Crumbled
My cat and I loved this tall scratching post — until the base disintegrated into a crumbly mess. While adding enormous washers to support the base, it already started to break again (see pics). It will need an entirely new base (not the same thin particle board) to be of any use. The inadequate base is a serious design flaw.
