★★☆☆☆
These simply don't work.
These have very little sound absorbing property. They're very thin, and super porous. I tested them in a chamber and before and after was very much the same. Echo was big and mic decibels were negligible.. Test 2, though not rigorous, I picked up about a dozen panels and pushed them against my ears. I can hear almost as good as without them covered at all. They come packaged 50 "panels" compressed into approximately 1" thick pack... they are extremely light and have tiny tiny mass. You'd be much better off for your money buying rock wool, or even moving blankets to soundproof your room (so long as meeting fire code) Don't waste your time with these. I also suspect many fake reviews on this product. I think these might be fine for protecting delicate items from physical shock... so good as packing foam maybe.
