I am a HUGE fan of this motion picture trilogy and give the set a 5 star rating; HOWEVER, do not waste your money on this garbage. This is just another ruse by Hollywood to get you to keep purchasing and re-purchasing a movie every single time a format changes or someone comes up with a "limited edition" version of the same film. Save your money and wait for the EXTENDED EDITIONS to come out on Blu-Ray. I currently own all 3 EXTENDED versions on DVD, and am extremely happy with them. Don't get too anxious and buy this version; wait it out and spend your money and get the biggest bang for your buck. I am surprised the studios would even consider re-releasing the original cuts in a Blu-Ray format that is able to support more data on a Blu-Ray disc. Absurd.
