Only cooked one side, See pic, same waffle. Update: Took a chance and had it replaced just in case I got a lemon, same problem only 1 side browned. Also might mention the handle does not stay cool. It gets hot by the end of cooking a batch of waffles (Marion Cunninghams recipe, maybe 4-6 cups of batter?). Had to return the Cuisinart for the same issue. Maybe moving on to the Breville? My 5 year old chef's choice is giving up the ghost too only browning 1 side well.
