Great concept, poor design. We assembled as instructed, fairly easy to put together and the bolts kept the unit in one piece. But during the first transport, carrying the item with the weight of an 11lb cat inside, the top came off in my husbands hands while crossing the street. the carrier fell to the street and the front door came open. luckily the cat stayed inside and traffic stopped. Not a good situation with an already stressed and hurt cat. We are disappointed in this product as we are starting to like and purchase more 'Amazon Basics' items.
