I received this product on time and package was great. I bought this product to use in making ice cream. When I opened the container it didn't smell like the liquid vanilla extract I purchased, but I thought it was because it was a paste. I tasted the paste and it didn't taste like the liquid extract, but I thought maybe because it was the paste. I put it in my ice cream and it tasted horrible...it wasn't because it was the paste. I tried it in vanilla custard and it was horrible. It made both taste like there was not vanilla in it...it tasted spoiled and I don't know how to explain the horrible taste. I had to throw out the ice cream and custard and the bean paste. I wasted a lot of money, sadly. I don't know if I received an "off" container, but I will not be purchasing this again.
