I wouldn't recommend this bonsai trimming, because I'm pretty sure mine were dead when they arrived. The seller did send 3 trimmings wrapped in plastic with a moist paper towel and rubber band around the end. One was really thick and the other two were very thin. I potted all three in Hoffman Bonsai Soil, have been watering for just over three weeks, and they have a good source of sunlight with LED plant lights to supplement (since its winter) but they are still just sticks, sticking out of dirt. Lol. Mine haven't grown at all, so if you're new to this like me I wouldn't recommend this option. Maybe try a seeding kit, or just go big and get an already grown bonsai tree. Lol.
