Nothing like the Reeboks of the 1980s.
When I was in high school, everyone wore Reebok leather high-top sneakers. They were unbelievably comfortable, as the leather became more and more supple over time.
When I found out that Reebok still made these "classic" shoes, I was excited. But this new version is a joke. The "leather" is hard, cheap vinyl, which you can tell will never get softer over time, and there is no arch support. So uncomfortable!
I probably should be surprised. Reeboks cost about $60 a pair 35 years ago, and these were only $45. You get what you pay for, I guess. But for God's sake, don't pay for these!
