I'm sure these are wonderful shoes, but the problem is that they're not a successor to Merell's Trail Glove. These have an enormous foam wedge under your arch, which is a no-no in minimalist shoes. Their predecessors had a nice, thin, flexible sole. These do not. No ground feel at all. I immediately boxed them back up for a refund, which I received, so thanks for that. Anyway, they seem well constructed, but they're by no means the minimalist shoes their predecessors were.
