Caused me a series of ligament and tendon injuries. NOT cool.
I gave this a rave review when I first got it. I love climbers at the gym, and I loved working my whole body. But my regular use of this machine ended in several injuries, to the hamstring attachments at my hips and even some pain around my knees.
I was a trained athlete in an earlier part of my life, and know proper form. In addition, I am now a trained and licensed primary medicine professional. After recovering from those severe aches and pains, I once again tried using this machine, for only 10 to 20 minutes 2 to 3 times a week. Once again I ended up with severe aches and pains that didn't go away for months and prevented me from continuing to use this machine or do any other exercise except walking my dog.
Maybe it was designed for men's bodies? Lots of things in this world are designed only for men, even though are going to be used by women as often as men (think: airline seats, car seats, gym equipment, parcourses, on and on).
I gave it a fair shot, more than a fair shot. it's been about 15 months of working out with it regularly, then recovering from the painful condition it caused me, wash rinse repeat. I don't get any pains from working out with free weights at the gym, so I know it's not incorrect form. I have given up on this machine, and In any case, I want my money back.
