$1500 guarantee is a scam. I bought this lock because of the high amazon reviews but if you look beyond the stars and read each of the review you may not find as much confidence buying this product. I thought a company that is willing to pay up to $1500 for your stolen bike must be a great product that has never seen a stolen bike but turns out its just all a marketing gimmick. As you can see from all the pictures of people's stolen bikes/cut locks here, you'd think twice before even thinking about locking up your investment with this lock. My lock was cut in under 7 seconds at a bart station inside the paid area right under the camera. The guy obviously know he can cut it quick before making an attempt like this. He got off the train, went up to the bike area, cut my lock, took my electric scooter and run back down to catch a boarding train. He used battery operated power tools, dont even need to plug in. Thats how easy it was. I read the other reviews here, so many people have the same misconception i had of this product providing security, it is a false sense of security. This company does not stand behind their product when it counts. They just ignore you until you escalate using social media and then you get a call back but just to tell you the same thing. They do not acknowledge their product being inadequate for what it was made and sold for and they do not stand behind their $1500 guarantee as there is fine prints which made it impossible to claim. Buyer beware.
