Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I bought this product twice based on so many positive reviews, assuming the first one was a dud, but had the same problem with both. The first time, I followed the directions and charged the batteries more than 4 hours (10 actually, to be sure this was not the problem). However, with the indoor base and outdoor remote sensor sitting right next to each other on the same table, the temperature was 5 degrees different from one another, and the humidity was 16% points different from each other. And this remained essentially the same for an entire day. Completely useless, so I returned it. The 2nd time nearly the same thing happened. I have no idea how they got so many good reviews. Wouldn't touch this brand again!
